Highlight reconstruction
WebNov 2, 2024 · You need to turn on highlight reconstruction. In 2024, it’s apparently on by default, but the slider needs a manual adjustment. Why is that? If the software can detect pink areas and paint them pink, surely the software could also then detect what slider setting to automatically apply in order to remove them? WebFirstly, the "highlight reconstruction" module doesn't actually adjust the exposure of hilight areas itself, it only determines how to handle areas that are clipped in the RAW file when they're pulled down to a level that doesn't result in clipping in the output.

But I guess the WB isn’t that important in helping you along with the problem, and for the highlight-reconstruction you can have multiple copies to share. True, we can’t change the slider anymore, but let’s see if that is even an issue. That is not desired behavior, and its especially no good when you find out about it after saving the image because the thumb looks fine (panorama, adjust one shot, paste profile to the rest, send to Queue).
