Dan Szwarc

Born and raised in Argentina, Dan Szwarc's driving passion is food. With a multi-faceted cooking style, Dan combines aspects from his French training, Australian lifestyle, and South-American heritage.

Beginning his career as a student at the prestigious cookery school The Bue Trainers in Buenos Aires, he graduated top of his class and has since gained experience working in kitchens at the Hyatt, Claridges and Gate Gourmet, as well as kitchens in London and on cruise ships internationally.

Dan''s Australian career took off with his task of helming the kitchen of Number 8, before opening Les Boucheries Parisiennes with Phillipe Aubron.

Dan has more recently been bringing the flavours of his homeland to Australia as Executive Chef of Hotel Argentina in Williamstown, before launching his own fun and relaxed concept, Dan’s Empanada Bar.
